Sometimes when that happens a few of us stick around and find something else to do. One of our favorite alternatives is racing bicycles on the muddy track. It's more fun when we do it in the pitch dark, but we can't don't have photos from those races. This is one from a daytime race in July 2000. Jon Palmer, my longtime friend - by Matt Kmieczak Father's Day Collage - by Gail Kmieczak Jug Centerfold 2000 - from Jug Hunter Magazine April 1984 Balloons & BB's (Patrick McGinnis) - Before there was Paintball the Jug gang devised a way to skirmish using balloons and BB guns. Never doing anything half way, the first game involved two dozen players, lasted 24 hours and played out on a square mile of ground. This is a collection of photos from that 1984 event. July 1984 Balloons & BB's (Patrick McGinnis) -We played again in July of that same year, but this time we cut the game down to a brief 12 hour battle. Here are photos from the second game. July of 1973 - new road opened up Pioneers in America - this is a brief autobiography of Angeline Nino Hurd written in 1972. It recounts the arrival of the Nino family in this country and how they settled on the land known as the Nino farm just east of the Forest Volunteer Fire House on Route 590. In the story Angie mentions her oldest brother, Louis Nino, who originally purchased the land which we now know as the Empty Jug.
